Elaine Thompson DeGiusti specializes in complex business and commercial litigation in both federal and state courts, and practices primarily in the areas of business and commercial law, receivership law, insurance law, and government agency relations. Elaine's work includes a variety of cases involving breach of contract, negligence, breaches of fiduciary duty and other business torts. Her receivership experience includes advising receivers regarding best practices for the failed institution, as well as prosecuting and defending claims on the receiver's behalf. Elaine has been active in Oklahoma City civic and community activities for over 30 years. Among other volunteer activities, she has served as President of the Phi Beta Kappa Association of Oklahoma City, and served as a past officer and member of the Board of Trustees for the Oklahoma City Ballet. She is a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Oklahoma City Alumni Association and served as a member of its House Corporation. She currently serves on the Board of Advocates for the Classics and Letters Department at the University of Oklahoma. Elaine is admitted to practice before the Oklahoma Supreme Court and all Oklahoma state courts, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma, and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
